:shrug:...been seeing a lot of discrimination against slash stuff lately, and so I decided to not bash the people discriminating against slash, but discriminate against discrimination of any kind instead. Seems friendlier anyways :P

We're all living, breathing humans here. We all have feelings, no matter what we draw. I draw fangirl art, and I AM a fangirl. And it makes me sad when people bash and accuse all fangirls of being rabid, weird, anti-social whores looking for attention. WE ARE NOT ALL LIKE THAT @_@ get it STRAIGHT. M'kay?

Not all slashers are perverts as well, get THAT through your head as well. It's not impossible for a slasher to be a good, decent person. My friend :iconbradsgurl: is one of the nicest and most awesome people I know. I know that for sure. Not all slashers are annoying physcopaths who hate butch.

And the last sterotype I seem to come across a lot is how DXS shippers are all rabid, evil, belief shovers....m'kay? I know for a fact there's DXS likers/lovers out there that are very very very nice people as well. Lessseeee...where do I begin? Oh yea, take :iconferi-san: for example. One of the most tolerant people I've ever met, she's one of my best online friends. And even if we both like different things, our tolerant nature allows us to keep harmony :) that's how it SHOULD be. So not all DXS fans are there to shove it down your throat okay? it's just not like that.

Don't be afraid to post your art. You should never feel ashamed for liking something, whether it be slash, het, lemon, crack pairings, canon pairings, WHATEVER. Whoever is reading this: NEVER feel ashamed for shipping a certain pairing, chances are there's someone JUST like you out there that loves the same thing. You are NEVER alone in ANYTHING in this world. There's always going to be people out there that are going to try and stab you right in the face, but there will also always be a person that's gonna pick you up when you're face down in the dirt.

:heart: use this wherever. GET THE MESSAGE OUT THERE.

We're all fans here, We might like different things, but remember: we ALL have one thing in common...

we ALL love Danny. And WHOEVER or WHATEVER he's paired with, we will always have that one thing in common.

Nothing is right, nothing is wrong.

[link] [link] [link] know what you mean by them getting more viscious. And the last one bugs me because one of my best deviantart friends has a really uber fantastic VladxDanny fanfiction. (And Danny's 18.)

And I'm a person that supports any pairing, canon, slash, crazy like DannyxFenton Thermos, and yes, I am a pervert, I like lemons, and all that jazz! But to heck with that, I'm still a fan, and that's all that matters. :D

AMEN to that. I once got into an argument with someone on how some fangirls are just normal, SANE people that actually have lives and don't spend hours gawking over....Sasuke or Danny or whatever they accuse us of fangirling over. D<

I'm also a huge DxS shipper, but I'm hardly rabid or obsessive.

As for slash.

While I may not like the idea of Danny with Tucker or Danny with Vlad...I still respect people who come up with the pairings. Heck, I don't even care if they pair Vlad with Maddie. Whatever the artist wants to do, I don't care. They can do whatever they want. They shouldn't have to face all this discrimination of drawing slash.

So true. A lot of people assume all fangirls are complete morons who only obsess about pairing our "annoyingly stupid OC" selves up with Danny (*or insert other character here*). And frankly, I'm really sick of hearing it.

It's like, first off I'm not a "character"- I'm a regular freaking human being (An OC is a made up character is it not?). Yea I guess I qualify as a self insert- but I don't go overboard and give myself qualities that I don't have in real life.

And no, I don't go around bashing DxS because I'm "oooh soo jealous". I have better things to do than focus on two inkblots getting together or not. Heck I even used to be a rabid shipper, so why would I get pissed at something I used to support? It's kind of redundant, methinks. And no, fangirls don't go around constantly harassing people like some people think we do. Quite the contrary.

As for slash and such, I went through my DannyxDanny phase for a short while. But then I kind of got over it. Does that mean I was a pedophile or something? No, it doesn't. And I've met slashers who genuinely wrote thoughtful fanfictions and didn't just write it for the hell of lol buttsecks. No doubt there ARE some that do slash for nothing but sexual reasons, but not every single one of them is like that.

Either way, I think every part of this fandom has been negative in some way to one-another.
